Myself and family had the great pleasure of a trip with Gary. Apart from being a thoroughly nice guy and having a well prepared 4x4 for desert duty, Gary's passion and knowledge of the desert wildlife close to Dubai City must surely be second to none as his impressive photo gallery attests. He took us to several sites, all within easy driving distance of the city, and presented us with memorable views of a surprisingly wide range of birds and animals. He knew just where to take us for some of the species I was most interested in seeing and we were close to 100% successful.

Gary has an amazing eye for spotting and identifying well concealed birds and demonstrated an amazing ability to differentiate multiple lark species at distance in less time than it's taken me to type this.

All in all, an experience not to be missed by anyone with an interest in desert wildlife. Thoroughly recommended.
